Infants

Taking care of infants is incredibly demanding, because each infant has different needs and each of these needs must be met. Our infant suite
provides the highest quality care in an environment that is designed
with the parent and child in mind. While in our care, your child will be stimulated through music, exercise, outdoor time, facial and verbal
mimicking,as well as lots and lots of love and attention.

We also realize how anxious new parents can be when their infant attends a preschool. Our infant care specialists go to great lengths to make certain that parents are informed daily about thehigh quality care their child receives.
Our warm and loving atmosphere gives the children a safe, secure
feeling and helps them get through the physical separation
of being away from their parents during the day.

As infants grow, it is vitally important for their senses to be stimulated in
a wholesome way. Our educational program gives your infant the
specialized care and attention that is a necessary foundation for
development. Through planned experiences and individual lesson
plans, yourinfant will gain vital skills by investigating educational
materials such as activity mats, soft books and blocks,
and tactile and sensory toys.

Toddler

At this age, your toddler is learning so many new and exciting things each and every day. From the early stages of crawling to pulling up with a push toy, toddlers experiment andmeet new challenges as fast as they come. As they learn new social skills, they must also learn to handle a new level of emotions. By interacting with other children andlearning to communicate with their friends, their mobility and activity level expands and guides them to the next developmental plateau.

Teachers find that introducing concepts and watching the development of toddlers can be extremely rewarding. Showing them pictures, allowing them to touch, smell and create objects are just a few activities necessary for healthy development. In addition,teachers are encouraged to let the
children hold and identify items, talk, walk, feed themselves, and accomplish potty training.

Preschool

School-Age

From the simple task of offering nourishing snacks to providing exciting ways to learn, our teachers show children that coming to WATFA is a wonderful experience and most importantly, that learning can be fun.
